SEIKISHO Mask White (Kose)

It the weekend again! And this means that it’s time for me to throw myself on the bed, putting on my facial mask while indulging in soothing music pieces, a perfect get away from my strenuous lab reports and assignments that have been troubling me all week!! A satisfying indulgence every fortnightly! ;)

Masking daily is just like an unwritten law of beauty where almost all girls know that it will help us to enhance our beauty! However, every good thing must come with sacrifices and masking daily is no exception as it is time consuming, which ultimately stops me from masking frequently! L

Here are some few benefits of masking daily! Facial mask helps us to condition and clean our skin. However, there isn’t any generic mask for everyone as it is very much dependent on the type of our skin. Oily skin suits best to mud or clay masks as it helps to cleanse impurities that cause acne. And all girls don’t like acne, right? Right? RIGHT! =) Moving on, masks that contain alpha-hydroxy acids are good in exfoliating and removing dead skin cells whereas hydrating masks which is made of glycerine and aromatherapy oils helps to hydrate the skin. ( like duh? :DD ) I personally suffers from oily facial skin especially in the T-zone area and also tends to develop freckles near my cheeks. As such, I couldn’t emphasise more that Kose’s Seikisho Mask White got to be one of my MUST choice of mud mask!!

Seikisho Mask White is a peel-off, airtight black mask that effectively removes dirt and impurities which dramatically increases the skin's clarity and radiance. It also suppresses melanin production and prevents the formation of aging spots and freckles.

Kose’s Seikisho Mask White uses a combination of Oriental herb extracts and Coix Seed Oil, as its main ingredient. Coix Seed Oil is a naturalanti-inflammatory substance that is rich in calcium, which advances the renewal of skin cells; protein, which makes up the building block of the skin cells; and Vitamin B, which helps to improve the moisture-retention ability of the epidermis, yield softer skin, reduce fine lines, and inhibit other signs of aging.

Kose’s Seikisho Mask White penetrates through the skin pores to deliver its active ingredients to as deep as the keratin layer of the skin, while simultaneously removing the skin’s dirt, dead skin cells, and other impurities. As it’s formulated with nano-black powders, the Kose’s Seikisho Mask White dries quickly and allows the mask to adhere closely to the skin. It has also been enriched with five Chinese and Japanese herbal extracts, including Coix Seed Oil, Angelica Extract, Korean Ginseng Extract that tones and detoxifies the skin; Cordyceps Sinensis repairs damaged and hyperpigmented skin cells; and Melothria Extract, which inhibits melanin production.

Directions for use:

·                     Take about one inch from the tube at a time and spread over skin.
·                     Repeat until the face is entirely covered by a thick layer, avoiding the eyes, eyebrows,  hairline and lips.
·                     After 20 minutes or when completely dry, peel off gently from the outside.

Below shows a video on how to apply the Seikisho Mask White and its effectiveness. (before and after using).

Nails

MY NAIL!!!!

Wake up this morning, felt like going to shopping with my 2 beloved girls. Plan to have my manicure and pedicure today. Wohoo~ Excited.

Nail art is my favorite! Not even make up can beat it. I mean who girls doesn't like beautiful long nails?
They are attractive, beautiful and also part of girl's life.
I went to get my nail done today, every weekend I will definitely spend 2 hours for my fingers and toes.
(WAIT)...
I saw something when they rub off my nail. IS YELLOW and OLD~
What's wrong with my nail? (X.X) mood swing ~I straight went back and check on the internet.

Oh my god~ I saw this sentence I nearly fainted... (Certain chemicals can damage your nail health!)
I didn't even notice it. I surf the net and it state that products that contain toluene, sulfonamide, or formaldehyde are harsh chemical which can harm our nails. Nail remover that contains acetone, chemical can cause nail dryness.

I personaly like to use OPI products, which is quite common use in nail art world...
But there are certain news which I found on electronic articles state that  the product contain dibutyl phthalate (DBP), formaldehyde and toluene--that have been linked to cancer and reproductive harm.

So girls,  I suggest we really need to be concern of what product the pedicure and manicure are using. If you are not familiar with the product try to surf the net and look for news that about it.
If you are afraid that you might have miss 1 or 2 news, maybe you can try by putting lotion.

There are some nail care lotion which is very useful, I use it by myself. Vaseline is one of it.Provide your hands and nails with the complete care they need every day with Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Hand & Nail Care Lotion.

If you nail is dry type, try to go the pharmacy near by your house and buy a nail care product such as vitamin base coat to put on your nail, it is shiny which makes your nail looks nicer, and also a way of protecting it.

DIAMOND~ i will get it~

Today, a simply gold with diamond necklace got my attention. Since kid, I dreamed for a prince with his white horse come to me, and knee in front of me purpose with a huge diamond ring~ of course! I know it was just a dream. ^^ I will try to get one diamond ring myself in the future.
Diamond, ladies’ favorite among all jewels. Diamond is the hardest natural material in world as we know. It’s hardest had been proved by the Mohs scale of mineral hardness. With grading 1(softest) to 10(hardest), diamond got hardness of 10 in this scale. Due to diamond requires a basic knowledge of the element carbon, it give diamond properties of hardest and high melting point. Diamond is made up of repeating units of carbon atoms joined to four other carbon atoms via the strongest chemical linkage, covalent bonds. Each carbon atom joins four other carbon atoms in regular tetrahedrons (triangular prisms). Diamond is transparent from the far infrared through the deep ultraviolet. Diamond has the highest reflectance and index of refraction of any transparent substances. That why diamond is always so shiny~ Diamond gemstones are commonly clear or pale blue, but colour diamonds, called 'fancies', have been found in all the colours of the rainbow.
We said that diamond is less stable than graphite, but the conversion rate from diamond to graphite is negligible at ambient conditions. Graphite is only a few electron volts more stable than diamond, but the activation barrier for conversion requires almost as much energy as destroying the entire lattice and rebuilding it. Therefore, once diamond is formed, it will not reconvert back to graphite because the barrier is too high. Under the high pressure and temperature conditions needed to form diamond its form is actually more stable than graphite, and so over millions of years carbonaceous deposits may slowly crystallize into diamond.
oh diamond~ so beautiful~ maybe not prince but i still hope i will meet with my Mr.Right in future, and he knee with a diamond ring to purpose with me..i will have a story like prince william and kate~ hahahahaha.....

What have they done to my bread???

I like to eat bread especially white bread because I can make it as a sandwich with different ingredient such as margarine, mayonnaise, ham or egg. This can be my breakfast every morning because it is so convenient, cheap, delicious and fast to prepare. This can even save my time to do other things instead of cooking.

However, I notice that the white bread is actually bad for our health as I left the white bread at  home for two weeks and it is still haven’t go moldy. It really makes me shock!!! Looking at the ingredients on the plastic wrap, I found a whole pile of ingredients that I had no clue what they were. When I browse through the internet, I just realize that the white bread have a lot of chemical ingredients inside it. Oh my god! I really didn’t notice it before.

The whole grain is actually very good to our health, but when whole wheat is milled to white flour, the most nutritious part of the grain will be taken away. During the milling of white flour, over twenty vitamins and minerals present in the original wheat grain are reduced by half or more. Most of the fiber has also been removed from it and it is not healthy. When fiber is not present in bread, it makes it a simple carb which the body treats similar to sugar.

Alloxan, the chemical that makes white flour look "clean" and "beautiful," destroys the beta cells of the pancreas and the beta cells will no longer produce enough insulin. Researchers normally use this to induce the disorder in lab animals. Giving alloxan to an animal is similar to inject that animal with a deadly virus and this will  cause illness easily. Every day, consumers ingest foods made with alloxan-contaminated flour that has potentially fatal link to diabetes because these facts are not well publicized by the food industry.

There is also an extensive use of pesticides and fertilizers on commercial wheat crops such as disulfoton (Di-syston), methyl parathion, chlorpyrifos, dimethoate, diamba and glyphosate. Besides the toxic will accumulate in our bodies and increase our susceptibility to neuro toxic diseases as well as cancer. Many of these pesticides function as xenoestrogens, foreign estrogen that can reap havoc with our hormone balance. They have also been linked to abnormalities and hormone-related cancers including fibrocystic breast disease, breast cancer and endometriosis.

I think i better don’t want eat white bread anymore because it won’t hurt me much if i stop consuming  it. If not, i think it will affect my health later on in my life.
